Overview
B.A. Journalism or Bachelor of Arts in Journalism covers the study of ways and methods to collect as well as distribute the news and create general awareness among the common public through the print as well as electronic media. The bachelor degree programme in journalism involves teaching and training regarding reporting, writing, editing, photographing etc. The main purpose of this programme is to teach students as how to inform, enlighten and educate people.

At JUC School of Communication, you'll gain valuable experience and earn bylines and credits through internships at major national and private news outlets including GBC, TV3, UTV, ADOM TV, Joy FM, Peace FM, The Ghanaian Times and Daily Graphics. Our journalism programme helps you hone your skills with courses in various forms of writing, advanced reporting, digital media, journalism ethics, and communication law as you learn from the School of Communication's richly experienced faculty. Our students take advantage of the most advanced video, audio, and studio equipments in our Media Lab as they gain confidence being behind and in front of the camera.
