Jayee University College (J.U.C) began its inspiring journey in 1988 as a small secretarial school in Adabraka (Accra, Ghana). J.U.C was founded by visionary educator Mr. John Emmanuel Donkoh, whose initials J.E. forms the acronym “Jayee”. The secretarial school became popularly known as “Jayee” and grew exponentially due to the exceptional commitment to providing quality and practical education.
Expanding its offerings by introducing programs in languages/bilingual studies and computer skills, Jayee Secretarial School transformed into the Jayee Professional Training Institute. In 1999, a pivotal move to the spacious McCarthy Hill campus marked a new era of growth. This expansion paved the way for Jayee Professional Institute to transition to Jayee University College as we know it today; thereby, enabled J.U.C to become a leading institution that offers advanced diplomas and degree programs in partnership with University of Education, Winneba (Central Region of Ghana).
J.U.C received accreditation in 2004, and along with ongoing mentorship from the University of Education (Winneba), J.U.C’s reputation for academic excellence has been solidified. By 2008, J.U.C had achieved another milestone, gaining accreditation to offer four-year degree programs.
